This album may not be everyone’s cup of tea, but it’s right up my alley. This is speed metal/shred guitar at its best. Usually when I review an album I list my favorite tracks, but in this case all the tracks are my favorite! If I had to pick just two I would probably go with “Dead To Your World” and “The End Of The Nightmare”, but all tracks display a masterful blend of high energy, well crafted instrumental virtuosity. From the squeaky-tight arrangements to the shredding guitar solos to the incredible double kick drum pyrotechnics to the James Hetfield type vocals, I could listen to this stuff all day.

As a guitarist I am totally blown away. The melodic guitar solos almost all have a neo-classical flavor – which I love. Fans of Yngwie, Paul Gilbert, Satch, Vai and the like will eat this guitar playing up. The drum tracks remind me of Lars Ulrich, but (if possible) maybe even better. The production quality is great, and I have no problem recommending this release to all fans of Metallica, Megadeth, Pantera, Anthrax, Slayer, Racer X, Yngwie Malmsteen, Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, or all fans of speed metal and shred guitar – or fans of instrumental virtuosity in general.
