On November 14, Rabbitfoot Records hosted an in store performance by S.S. Web and Three Bad Jacks.
Milwaukee ‘s S.S. Web kicked off the party with their acoustic set of songs about women and drinking. They were by turns energized and laid back, but always entertaining.
Three Bad Jacks brought their exceptional version of rockabilly with them, starting the show with a four song tribute to the King. The band proceeded to storm through 70 minutes of lightning quick rockabilly leads.
Highlights of the show were the best version of “That’s Alright Mama,” I’ve ever heard performed live; an incendiary (literally) rendition of their number, “Hellbound Train,” and their cover of “Ace of Spades.”
Elvis Suissa, Dave Eckles, and John Palmer, this evening known as Three Bad Jacks, were nothing short of brilliant.
